Rehab Trainer
Kayleigh studied a Bachelors degree in Human Movement Sciences with a post-graduate honours degree in Biokinetics (2014) at the Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
Biokineticists are human movement specialists who aim to improve a patients quality of life through prescribed exercise routines either as a preventive health measure or final phase rehab of sport injury, recovery from disease, operations and aid in the management illness.
Working with patients ranging from chronic disease, weight management, pregnancy (post/pre) as well as athletes – Kayleigh has a unique personal approach to all of her clients helping them to focus on what they are capable of, rather than what they are not. Through creative and adaptive measures and exercise design, every client is able to train safely to work towards their desired goals.
Seeking new opportunities abroad, Kayleigh and her young family made the move to Dubai mid-2021 where she soon joined the Optimal team as the rehabilitation trainer working closely with the therapists and personal trainers.
